Cyanotype Ornament - kk illustration It is a happy painting

It is a happy painting that evokes my childhood's carefree summer days

My parents were of the generation that used slide rulers to perform complex calculations

But when it came back the last time

I asked myself

Ornamental Grass Five is an original cyanotype on archival watercolor paper

Cyanotype Ornament - kk illustration It is a happy paintingI created these original cyanotype ornaments from native plants I found while hiking the high alpine trails of Colorado. Each unique print is encased in a bright gold frame between layers of glass and hangs from a gold link chain. Ornaments are wrapped individually in gold speckled tissue paper and placed in a gold foiled pouch. My signature and the creation year are on each print's back. Dimensions: Hexagon shape, 3. 75"w x 3. 5"h Square shape, 3.
